Stuff a Stocking

Our stuff a stocking program helps us bring christmas joy to families, and elderly and disabled. 22 percent of children go without a single present for Christmas every year in the US. And over 250,000 elderly spend Christmas alone, and without any cheer yearly.

Through sponsorship and partnering we offer stockings to senior and disabled apartment complexes. These stockings include warm items for the winter, personal products, as well as candy and coffee to help warm the soul. With donations, we include puzzle books or literature and deliver them door to door in time for the holiday.

Our family program begins with the request from someone, or a nomination from someone else! The family is then put on our list with their gender, age, sizes, and toy suggestions based on their favorite characters. The parent, or parents are also put on the list and then are chosen to be sponsored by generous earth angels. Gifts are then delivered to the families in time for Christmas.

Homeless Program

On a single night, more than half a million americans go homeless. Of those, 35 percent live and sleep on the street.

Our homeless program takes people off the street, gets them into an apartment, and fully furnishes it for them. With help from partners and donors, we request help with rent, deposit, as well as furniture donations. This can include dishes, linens, cleaning supplies, lamps, electronics, as well as bigger furniture items like tables and chairs. Every little bit helps to get them back on their feet and a fresh start at a new life.

Food Pantry

We also operate our own food pantry. With help from a local food bank, we stock the shelves of families kitchens and provide meals to those who would otherwise go hungry.

12 percent of all americans live in a household that struggles against food insecurity. One third of americans will go to bed hungry if an unforseen expense occurs like a car repair, or a medical bill.
